Pain never fades.

Time never heals the pain. We just learn to live with the fact that life can never be the same again, clinging to the memories which have their own little happy place. :)

And that is how we mask ourselves with the happiness which is not really there.

Chapters! <3

People come in our life as chapters, some beautiful chapters accompanying few tragic ones too. But, once in a while we also tend to witness some "beautiful tragedies".

His arrival inked every page of her life with profoundness. Be it the wonderful time spent with him or the tragedy of his walking away, she could never belittle his memories. He wasn't just a chapter of her life, he was the whole damn book! :) <3

Oblivion. .

Her words bled with emotions, dying to reach out that one guy who meant the world to her. His heart, cold as December mornings, failed to read it, sinking her feelings in the world of oblivion forever!

December! <3

The chilling wind springing the warm memoirs cuddled up in fog, December has a way of saying good bye with profoundness, taking its footprints towards a new chapter, a new life, collecting memories imprinted in the last few chapters with a hope of inking more awesomeness thatJanuary would bestow us with.

"SCREENSHOTS" - A short story.

Over the years, she had developed a habit of taking screenshots of profound, beautiful conversations she had with him. The love of her life.

"Why do you need to take screenshot of everything, Love. Aren't photographs enough?" He used to ask.

"I am collecting our memories. Everyone keeps photographs. I want to remember our conversations too". She would reply with the cutest smile.

"We are going to have a beautiful forever together. And, every day of our life would be so beautiful that you won't get time to look back at old memories". He said with all the love he had for her.

"Oh! The guy in this conversation is so cute. I want to meet him". A middle aged man, with patches of grey and white hair, his eyes shining behind the spectacles said in an excited yet kiddish tone.

"This is that guy". She pointed towards the huge antique mirror which showed his reflection.

"Are you kidding me? How can that guy be me? I don't even know you." He was annoyed.

"Hahaha! You caught me! Isn't it funny? Oh god! I am so funny!!" She acted laughing as loud as she could and he innocently joined her in.

She looked at him with eyes wet with emotions. The guy she married 25 years back did not remember her at all. The disease dementia has taken his memory away.

"Why don't you show him your photographs with him?" Her friends and family would advice.

"Those photographs would only confuse and torture him and, that is way too much for an innocent mind to handle and, I can't afford to put him through all that mental pain. I love him too much to do that to him". She would reply bluntly. Love has a way of making people honest towards their feelings.

Dementia failed to take her love for him away, it could not take their memories away from her because if it is meant to be forever, it shall be forever. No matter come what may. He had forgotten her but, he still loved to read those screenshots of conversations. Maybe he didn't realise but somewhere his heart knew that he was a part of these profound conversations. And, she was perfectly happy with the little joy those screenshots brought in their lives. <3

The good old times! :)

You have memories to look back today".

Midst the cluster of Facebook notifications, her eyes stopped at this particular notification.

"No use checking it out, it must be some stupid, illogical post I updated years back. I wonder how silly people are when we first join Facebook. Ah, ya, well! I was no exception". She tried overlooking that notification and hit the newsfeed. But, then heart has its own way of clinging to the memories, no matter how stupid it might seem. She clicked back at the notification window.

"Ummm, okay! There's no harm looking at memories". She murmured with curiosity.

And, there she was, 4 years back, smiling like an idiot with her best friend. The memories of their Manali trip came rushing to her. How she wished she could go back in time and replay those memories. She kept reading the funny, hilarious comments that photograph was bestowed with. Tears trickled down her wet eyes and, she realised that she had been looking at the laptop screen for quite a long time.

"Damn! Its been ages. I haven't talked to her. I need to call now". The emotions overflowed in her heart as she dialled her best buddy's number. Sometimes, we get so busy midst the chaos of our lives, that we forget those friendships who once were our sole reason to live. Friendships we could die for.

"The number you're calling is busy on another call". The computerised voice from the other side disappointed her. She kept trying until she was disturbed by a call on the landline.

"Who on earth is calling right now!" She was annoyed with this sudden disruption.

"Hello, Who is this"? She asked annoyed.

"Where have you been, idiot? I have had been calling you from past few minutes". She was happily surprised on hearing this familiar friendly voice. Ofcourse, how could she not recognise her best friend's voice.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! You won't believe me, I was trying your call right now, right away". She almost screamed with excitement.

"What??? Really? What a beautiful coincidence. You know, I saw our memories on . . "

"On Facebook?? Wow! Now this is freaking awesome. What timing, girl!" She cut short her sentence midway. Life has a cute way of bringing people back.

"This is epic, really!!" They shouted in unison.

And the phone call kept going, memories were replayed, recollected. They had so much to talk, so much to catch up, so much to share. The profound conversstion can never find its end when best friends talk and that too after years.

Busy? It is okay! We all are. But, take out time and call your long lost friend, once in a while. Revive your good old days, share old memories and make new ones. It would be worth it. Trust me! :)

A dream died young!

"Look at her marksheet, just 50% in Mathematics". Her father retorted.

"And, not to forget her Science marks, 55%.She is such a disappointment." Her mother fumed too.

"But, Dad, Didn't you notice my English marks? I have had got 92%, the highest in all the sections". The 9th grade girl said fearfully yet, there was hope in her voice.

"Nobody sees your literature marks. It is Mathematics and Science that make careers". Her father broke the hope she was clinging to.

"Stop wasting your time scribbling your good for nothing thoughts and pay attention on numericals and equations". Even her mother failed to understand her.

And, a dream died young that day. She was engineered to opt something she could never really understand, leave alone loving.

She was allowed to be a bad engineer or a bad doctor but, not a great writer!

Mera sheher! :)

Aaj barson baad kadam apne sheher ki taraf badhe. .
Wo sheher jahan zindagi ke kuch khubsurat waqt guzre the kabhi. .
Uss zameen ki mitti aaj bhi apni si lagi. .

Sheher chhota zarur hai mera, log bade dilwale hain. .
Hamari khushi me humse zyada khush hone wale aur hamare gham me hum se zyada ghamgin. .

Aaj barson baad kadam apne sheher ki taraf badhe. .
Kuch anjaan, kuch jaane pehchane chehre nazar aaye. .
Kuch khush hue, kuch bahot khush hue milke. .
Sheher chhota hai na, khushi ke siwa kisi aur cheez ki gunjaish hi nahi. .

Aaj barson baad kadam apne sheher ki taraf badhe. .
Zindagi ki uljhanon me mujhe yaad na raha mera sheher. .
Lekin, ye sheher aaj bhi mujhe dekh muskura raha hai. .
Himmat, hausle, jeet, haar ke beintiha kisse hain iske paas. .
Ek kissa hamara bhi hai. .
Khwabo ki kahani jo iss sheher ne dikhayi. .

Ye sheher mujhe aaj bhi pehchanta hai. .
Un chhoti chhoti galiyon me aaj bhi bade bade khwab baste hain. .
Kabhi humne bhi aise hi khwab dekhe the. .
Khwab to poore ho gaye, lekin sheher kahin peeche chhut gaya. .

Aaj barson baad kadam apne sheher ki taraf badhe. . !! :)

Journeys worth falling in love for. :')

At some point of life, everyone of us wishes that our journey continues a little more longer when we are about to reach the destination. No matter how difficult the journey might be, midst those hurdles we meet few people who are like the beautiful spring in the hot summer. They make our journey worthwhile and a time comes when we fall in love with the journey itself, forgetting about the very existence of the destination. And, when the destination finally arrives, our heart breaks a little 'cause some where deep down the heart we know that the reality will be different now and, the people we met along in the journey will no more be there. All we will be left with is a bundle of beautiful memories. And few years down the line, one fine evening we shall reminiscence about that beautiful journey that we were a part of. :')

Spreading happiness! <3

Life is too short to have bitter feelings for anyone. Mistakes are a part of growing up. I do, you do, everyone around us does. No one is perfect. Nobody ever was and nobody ever will. So, instead of hating someone who hurt you, forgive him/her. Just let go, move on. :)

Why spend our precious little time we got on Earth, hating someone whose existance shouldn't even matter to us?

There are far more better things to do in life. Follow your dreams, catch up with a friend you lost contact with, spend quality time with family, your parents who would love you no matter what happens. Explore the world, write, sing, scream, paint the town red and when you are done with everything you ever wished, relax, keep calm and start it all over 'cause wishes don't come with an expiry date. :) :) :)

Spread happiness, Stay happy. ^_^. .

Follow your heart. <3

Not everyone who writes can be a writer.
Not everyone who sings can be a singer.
Not everyone who acts can be an actor.

And even if you become one, not every writer, singer or actor can be famous and make a huge earning out of it.

So, don't write to show the world your writing skills.

Don't sing to prove how melodious your voice is.

Don't act to make the world realise how flawlessly you enact emotions.

Write! 'Cause you love inking your thoughts.

Sing! 'Cause you admire the swirls and swings of tunes.

Act! 'Cause you love expressing yourself.

Do whatever you like without expecting too much 'cause unfulfilled expectations make us bitter. Follow your heart, give your best. At the end, hardwork always pays off. Never give up. :') :')

Follow the road you want to travel. Eventually, you shall get your destination and even if you don't, keep calm and continue your journey 'cause you will reach your destination when you least expect it. So, you gotta be ready all the time, don't you? :)

The Unwritten Tale. :')

Of all the stories I have read till date, the one which is my favourite is still unwritten. Its right there in the corner of my heart, tucked in emotions. My subconcious mind wants to ink that story but, the heart has its own way. Probably, that unwritten tale is yet to witness some unbrideled emotions and dreams! :)

Hopefully, my heart and mind would come to some mutual understanding soon 'cause some stories are destined to be told! ^_^. .

All about a writer! :')

A writer may be alone but, he/she can never be lonely 'cause their thoughts seldom leaves them. They can be found weaving a story at the weirdest of time and their imagination knows no bounds. They are the crazy, insane, hopelessly hopeless, emotional people who ink their emotions with the profound thoughts that are engraved deep in their heart. <3

Emotions that never got inked!

She was looking blankly at the laptop screen. The mind which had embedded enormous thoughts into beautiful proses, poetry and stories, couldn't type a word.

It seemed as if her words had sinked to oblivion.

"I exist in every piece of your writing. Had I not been here, you would never write". He had once profoundly remarked."

That day she did not have any answer but, today she realised how true his words were. He was gone and her emotions never got inked again!

Destined to be apart!

Why do two paths meet if it isn't meant to reach its destination? Why does God need to complicate our lives with this feeling called 'Love'. We are better off without love and relationships 'cause people can deal with the feeling of being alone by choice but, loneliness of broken relationships hurt a bit too much, doesn't it?

Life : A Canvas!

Life is a canvas which can't be always painted with the colours we wish to. Sometimes, the canvas is left void. But, midst that void, it is the strength within us that empowers us to fill it with the colours of bravery and courage." :) :)

I lived it and loved it too. :)

Neither I reminiscence in past nor, I worry about the future 'cause past is gone, never to return and future is in the realms of uncertainity. "Present", that is the place I belong to. Living every moment to its fullest. I know, eventually, this too shall pass but, I won't have regrets 'cause I lived it and loved it too." :) :) :)

Khwabon ki Manzil. :)

Ab meri qalam mera sath nahi deti. .

Ye siyahi, ye kagaz ab mujhse guftagu nahi karte. .

Wo alfaz jo meri soch ko zaahir karte the naraz hain mujhse. .

Labon ki muskurahat tham se gayi hai, aankhon me nami bas si gayi hai. .

Khuli aankhon se khwab dekhne wala wo dil. .
Ab khwabon ke tassavur se bhi darta hai. .

Shayad, zindagi ise hi kehte hain. . Har waqt badalne wali. .

Jo kabhi meri zindagi ki manzil tha. . Aaj bas ek purani yaad banke reh gaya hai. .

Ranjishien bahot hain, shikhayatien bhi hain beshak. .
Lekin afsos, ye dil aaj bhi tujhe baddua nahi de pata. .

Meri manzil ka to rasta hi chheen liya tune. .
Magar khuda kare ki tujhe teri manzil zarur mile. .

Mere na sahi, kam se kam tere hi khwabon ko aasman mile. .

Kyunki, khwab kisi ke bhi ho, pure hone chahiye! :)

Talking with destiny!

Once, I asked destiny. .

"What future holds for me"?

To which the destiny replied. .

"My existence would be on stake If I had all the answers. People believe in me 'cause I am uncertain, unseen."

"You keep people in illusion and play with their emotions". I retorted.

"This illusion helps them to LIVE. If people knew what fate had for them, they would either die out of happiness or sadness. I keep them ALIVE!" Destiny smiled.

And all I could do was smile back. .

Ah! Well, maybe there is certain charm in being unpredictable. . :)

Once upon a time!

"Once upon a time". . <3 [Memoirs of a love story]. .

This story is about the girl I had always loved and I always will. The girl I saw on the first day of std VIIIth. The cute, nervous girl clutching her school bag, her big brown eyes searching the way through class. The shy, timid face trying to avoid the gazes of many which of course were fixed on her 'cause she was a pretty new entrant in the school. I so wished she would talk to me and I wonder if God was in a perfect mood that day 'cause she actually did come to me.

"Hey! Could you please tell me the way through VIII-C"?

Her voice sweet and mild. I got lost somewhere but, somehow I managed to keep calm amidst the choice my heart was creating and showed her the way through the class.
And, in those five beautiful minutes as I walked her through the corridor, I realized what love at first sight is.

"Thank you so much".

I got to hear her sweet voice again as soon as we reached class. I swear, I could have died out of happiness that time but, I preferred to walking with her in the classroom rather than dying.

"Wait, why are you coming after me"? My walk was interrupted by her sudden question.

"That's because I happen to be your classmate, fortunately." I emphasized on the word fortunately to give her a lil' hint about my crush on her.

"Oh! Well. I am sorry. It's my first day at school so I am a lil' paranoid".

I could hear that sweet voice again. I couldn't get more lucky.

"You don't need to be paranoid till I am with you, okay?" :)

"Okay"! :)

And the smile that initiated that day continues till now. It's been 8 years now and eventually she did fall in love with me. Hey girl, are you listening? I STILL LOVE YOU!!!!!! <3 <3

- A guy hopelessly hopeless in love with you. :* <3

P.S : Spread love, create love stories and let us ink our emotions soaked in the spirit of love. . ^_^ <3
